Matthew Betmaleck brings a unique architectural sensibility to each of his commissions, whether designing a full-blown multi-set production or resourcing a specific prop element. After receiving a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California, Betmaleck practiced with internationally-acclaimed design firms Pei Cobb Freed and Partners, Alexander Gorlin Architects, Kohn Pedersen Fox, and Pritzker-prize-winning Alvaro Siza Vieira.

Betmaleck provides a thoughtful balance of style and rigor, harnessing left-brain creativity with right-brain detail-oriented precision. After all, big dreams (and small ones, too) require just the right plan of action.

MBS’s recent projects have included ad campaigns for A/X Armani Exchange, Vogue and Hotkiss, editorial features for Elle (Italy; Germany), Out and Cargo magazines, as well as commercial work for Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, DKNY and Macy’s West. We have collaborated with many of today’s leading photographers such as Tom Munro, Enrique Badulescu, Joshua Jordan and Jay Zukerkorn to name a few.
